Terms of service

The service

Stockkarp reviews finished Pokémon Showdown! games and grades the decisions made in them, using an AI model. It's a learning tool. Reviews are the model's estimates: they can be wrong, especially when information was hidden during the game, and shouldn't be relied on as the final word on any decision.

Your account

You sign in with a Discord or Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep that account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Stockkarp.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• use Stockkarp, or anything it produces, to gain an advantage in a game while it's being played;
• try to get around review limits, submit games through anything other than the site's own forms, or automate submissions without permission;
• attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or access data that isn't yours;
• submit content you don't have the right to share, or use the service to break the law or Pokémon Showdown!'s rules.

Your content

You keep your rights in the teams you submit. You give Stockkarp permission to process the games and teams you submit in order to review them and keep your reviews for you. Replays come from Pokémon Showdown! and are subject to its own terms.

Limits and availability

Reviews are subject to daily or monthly limits that may change. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Paid plans

If paid plans are offered, their price, billing and cancellation terms will be shown before you subscribe.

Not affiliated

Stockkarp is an independent fan project. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokémon Company or Pokémon Showdown!. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of their respective owners.

No warranty

Stockkarp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Stockkarp and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses from relying on a review. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Ending

You can stop using Stockkarp at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may end access for accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll let signed-in users know. Continuing to use Stockkarp after a change means you accept the new terms.
